Electrical burn, dog
Electrical burns can cause substantial oral cavity inflammation. This image depicts an electrical burn caused by biting an electrical cord. The full extent of the burn will not be appreciable until at least 3–4 days after the incident, once there is obvious demarcation between damaged and healthy tissue.
