Foot bath in a veterinary surgical center

Foot bath in a veterinary surgical center

An impromptu foot bath using a cat litter tray with paper toweling soaked in bleach. Other commonly used disinfectants for foot baths include potassium peroxymonosulfate and 4% formaldehyde. Foot baths are useful in veterinary premises, kennels, farms, shelters, etc, during any infectious disease outbreak where indirect transmission of the pathogen is known or suspected.
