Level 1 PVC splint, distal forelimb, horse
Horse with a PVC splint placed over a modified Robert Jones bandage. The splint is placed dorsally to improve alignment of the dorsal cortices, and it is affixed to the limb with several layers of duct tape. Note that the splint extends from the proximal metacarpus to the tip of the toe and is well padded at the top.
