Penetrating corneal foreign body, dog
A plant foreign body (yellow thorn at right) has penetrated the cornea and resides in the anterior chamber of this dog's eye. Minimal inflammation is present within the anterior chamber, and the foreign body has not penetrated the lens. Note that visualizing the foreign body at an angle of approximately 45° allows confirmation of its location within the anterior chamber.
