Transcervical endoscopy, dog
Complete evaluation of the vestibule, vagina, and cervix is only possible with specialized (long, rigid) vaginoscopic equipment, used with air or saline insufflation. The female dog has a long vagina; the cervix is at the level of the cranial thigh.
